District 57 Nominating Committee, 2010-11
The District 57 Nominating Committee is now accepting applications for district officer roles for the 2010-2011 fiscal year.
An informational meeting for any member interested in pursuing a district officer role in 2010-11 will be held on Saturday, March 20. For more information, see the District Calendar.

District Governor, Lieutenant Governor of Education & Training, Lieutenant Governor of Marketing, and all Division Governors are elected at the District Council meeting to be held May 8, 2010 at the District Conference. District Treasurer, District Public Relations Officer, District Secretary, and all Area Governors are appointed by the incoming District Governor.
If you are interested in applying for one of these roles, please do the following:
- Read the description of the role, understand its mission, and verify that you meet the minimum requirements for the role.
- Seriously consider the time commitment, including such things as club visits, conferences, contests, monthly District Executive Committee meetings (usually the 3rd Saturday morning of each month), and other related activities.
- Complete the District Officer Nomination form.
- Complete the Officer Agreement and Release form.
- Send the Nomination form and Release form to johnson.tyree@gmail.com by May 1, 2010, after which the nominations will be closed.
